Arriving By Train

There are two train stations near the airport, one in Kokkola and one in Pännäinen (slightly outside Pietarsaari center).

Kokkola-Pietarsaari Airport is a smooth gateway to the region, and other destinations throughout Finland can easily be accessed by train.

Nearest Train Stations

• Kokkola (15 min.)
• Pännäinen (20 min. / slightly outside Pietarsaari center)

Kokkola station

If coming from the north, you can get off at Kokkola train station.
Order the Airport Shuttle or take a private taxi from the train station to the airport. Remember that the Airport Shuttle needs to be booked in advance!

Pännäinen station (Pietarsaari)

If coming from the south, you can get off at Pännäinen train station.
From Pännäinen you can take the train station transfer bus to Pietarsaari and then from there taxi to the airport.


The fastest method is to take a private taxi from Pännäinen station to KOK airport (about 25 km).
